Global provider of professional project and asset services in the energy sector, Worley, has been granted two Master Service Agreements (MSAs) by Total E&P Mozambique Area 1 Limitada to provide service to the Mozambique LNG Project.
The Mozambique LNG project– which is operated by Total – will liquefy natural gas from the Golfinho and Atum fields offshore Mozambique through two liquefaction trains. Its partners include ENH Rovuma Area Um, S.A., Mitsui E&P Mozambique Area 1 Ltd., ONGC Videsh Ltd., Beas Rovuma Energy Mozambique Limited, BPRL Ventures Mozambique B.V. and PTTEP Mozambique Area 1 Limited.
“We are pleased to continue providing services to the LNG development and to support one of Africa’s largest projects,” Worley Chief Executive Officer, Andrew Wood said, adding that the MSA will bring the Mozambique LNG to maturity.
Worley has been involved in the LNG development in Mozambique’s Afungi peninsula in the Cabo Delgado province since gas was discovered there 10 years ago.
Services provided by Worley will include engineering, consulting and specialist engineering for delivery of onshore and offshore facilities.
