Multinational manufacturing company Vallourec has secured a contract from energy supermajor TotalEnergies to supply nearly 5,000 tons of oil country tubular goods and associated services for the Kaminho deepwater project, offshore Angola.
Vallourec will supply TotalEnergies with its VAM connections and field services, tubular management services and CLEANWELL technology, which offers a more environmentally friendly solution to the project.
Situated approximately 100km off the Angolan coast in Block 20 in the Kwanza basin, production of the Kaminho project – which encompasses development of the Cameia and Golfinho fields – is set to commence in 2028. The project features an FPSO with a production of 70,000 barrels of oil per day.
