The US government plans to extend the Lobito Corridor railway from Angola’s Port of Lobito to Tanzania’s Dar es Salaam, enhancing regional trade and economic integration.
Currently in the feasibility stage, the project has received a $500 million commitment from financial institution the African Development Bank as well as a $320 million pledge from the Italian government.
The Lobito Corridor expansion project is set to connect African countries to global markets while enhancing regional trade and economic growth.
