Turkish Airlines has added Juba, South Sudan to its flight list, with three flights from Istanbul to Juba to be made per week starting from June 1, 2022.

The Turkish airline operator currently flies to more than 200 destinations worldwide. The addition of the South Sudanese capital to its service offerings suggests growing ties between the two countries and a stronger presence on the African continent at-large.

Earlier this year, Turkish Airlines completed its technical review of Juba International Airport, paving the way for the rollout of the new flight this summer.
