Total and Sonangol have announced the conclusion of a joint venture (JV) agreement to develop petroleum product retail operations in Angola.
The core focus of the JV is to market fuel and sell lubricants in the business-to-consumer and business-to-business segments. This will be achieved through Total’s implementation of service stations, the first of which was launched in Luanda last year. Total will also provide financial resources, which will be used to increase the number of service stations over the next five years.
Together with its partner Sonangol, Total will also provide the development of a service station network, designed to meet the highest international standards, while providing customers with a high-quality product and service line-up.
