Tinda Energy Congo and Turkish group Abosskal Oferka have signed a strategic partnership to produce solar panels for the electrification of the Ignié Industrial Park, located within the Republic of Congo’s Special Economic Zone (SEZ).
Under the agreement, signed by Tinda Energy CEO Yannick Jutta and Abosskal Oferka CEO Altan Yazicioglu Mahmut, the collaboration will support the electrification of the Maloukou power plant, improving electricity supply for industrial and commercial operations in the region. The industrial and commercial park is set to be fully electrified by the end of 2025.
ABOSSKAL Oferka participates in the financing and construction of power lines and access roads for the IGNIE electrification project 2021-2046.
The initiative forms part of the Ignié 2021-2046 electrification project, which aims to generate 55 MW from a hybrid solar power plant and an additional 10 MW from biomass. The project covers 100 hectares dedicated to renewable energy development and is expected to be completed within 18 months.
