DIKKO ATANU Biography

Dikko is an oil and gas executive with 20 years experience, and has been involved in various E&P and midstream infrastructure projects in Nigeria. At Neoleum Energy, he leads the midstream strategy, project development, and advisory on gas monetization, small-scale LNG development for power generation and industrial applications in West Africa. Prior to Neoleum, he served as the Head of Gas and Business Development for UK listed Afren plc, where he worked on new ventures and key corporate development initiatives for its indigenous partners – Oriental Energy, Amni, Optimum, FHN, and Yinka Folawiyo Petroleum (Aje Field), as well as participating in all IOC divestments in Nigeria. He started his international career at the trading division of Credit Suisse First Boston in New York, whilst his energy career started at Global Energy in Texas, in which he worked with the management team in taking the first indigenous owned and operated 120MMscfd barge mounted LPG gas processing plant in Africa to First Gas He advises a number of indigenous and international companies including Green Energy Limited, Eland, and a small-scale LNG developer serving power plants removed from the gas pipeline grid.
