Tetra4, a subsidiary of Renergen Limited, has secured a liquified natural gas (LNG) supply deal with fuel products distributor, Black Knight Group.
The newly acquired LNG will supply approximately 100 trucks, significantly reducing carbon emissions and operator costs. Further, it will improve vehicle lifestyle maintenance.
“Tetra4 is proud to be associated with Black Knight as they embark on their new venture to disrupt the local logistics market using cutting-edge technology and international best practice,” said Renergen CEO, Stefano Marani.
Black Knight Group has two decades of experience in the fuel industry, distributing products across South Africa and the wider SADC region.
On the use of alternative solutions, Black Knight CEO Jacques D’ymant said the use of alternative fuels will provide cleaner and safer fuel solutions for businesses and the environment adding that: “through our partnership with Tetra4, we can now ensure that these ongoing benefits, including cost savings, are passed on to our clients”.
Renergen is an integrated alternative and renewable energy business, with Tetra4, a vertically integrated gas producer, holding the only onshore petroleum production license in South Africa.
