President Ramaphosa is meeting with his Angolan counterpart João Lourenço alongside regional Heads of State from the Southern Africa Development Community to discuss driving sustainable industrialization in regional.
Additional topics to be explored will include political and security challenges and the socioeconomic outlook of the region.
President Ramaphosa will be joined by South Africa’s Minister of International Relations and Cooperation Dr Naledi Pandor; Minister of Defense and Military Veterans Thandi Modise; and Minister in the Presidency responsible for State Security Khumbudzo Ntshavheni.
The visit builds on a long-history of strong relations between the two countries and will kick off discussions on potential areas of cooperation including energy, infrastructure and local content.
