Sonangol, Eni, and ANPG signed a memorandum of understanding On October 4 for the production of sustainable renewable energy in Angola as part of the government’s strategy to accelerate the energy transition process in the country.
According to Eni, $150 million will be invested in over 150 acres of land throughout the country to establish agricultural hubs to produce the primary materials for biofuel production.
ANGP and Sonangol are confident that joining forces with Eni will strategically position Angola as a strong influencer among sub-Saharan African markets on leading and innovative solutions for a smooth energy transition process and socio-economic development.
