The government of Senegal will officially launch its Senegal 2050 – National Transformation Agenda on October 7, 2024.
Developed under the direction of Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko at the request of President Bassirou Diomaye Faye, the agenda outlines key corrective measures to stabilize and address the country’s economic challenges.
Building on the Plan for an Emerging Senegal 2035 developed by the previous government, the plan targets reforms across various sectors to achieve economic progress. It is intended to guide the nation’s development and manage structural issues facing Senegal’s economy.
