Qatar’s national flag carrier Qatar Airlines is increasing its scheduled flights to Angola’s capital Luanda from one per week to four. The additional flights aim to bolster connectivity between Doha and Luanda, thereby promoting travel and commerce.
The airline has also announced the expansion of its flight network with an additional route – to the Democratic Republic of the Congo’s capital Kinshasa. Scheduled routes include a flight departing Doha and arriving in Kinshasa, with an onward connection to Luanda and thereafter Doha. Concurrently, a second flight is scheduled for a return trip from Doha to Luanda.
“We have seen significant milestones in our 2024 network expansion and this latest addition is particularly special, as it continues our strategic goal of increasing our footprint in Africa,” Qatar Airways CCO Thierry Antinori stated.
With the added Kinshasa route, Qatar Airlines now serves 29 African destinations.
