Canadian mining company Premium Resources has unveiled a comprehensive six-month strategy to advance the development of its Selebi North and Selebi Main projects in Botswana.
The plan includes extending three existing drill holes by 200 meters each to uncover a new mineralized zone 150 meters beneath the Selebi Main project. Additionally, the company will develop a dual-purpose exploration drift and conduct approximately 12,500 meters of drilling across six holes to explore new mineralization within a 2km-long zone between the Selebi North and Selebi Main deposits.
At the Selebi North Underground project, Premium Resources will drill 2,525 meters across four holes to expand existing resources. The company will also initiate a surface drilling program at the Selkirk project to update its mineral resource estimate for platinum group metals.
“The high-grade nature of Selebi, its substantial size, our upcoming drilling and the planned metallurgical work are all critical coinciding steps in the larger vision of potentially building a world-class, generational critical metals project,” stated Morgan Lekstrom, CEO of Premium Resources.
