Pentagon Freight Services and TLC SA Transportation Logistic Consulting have announced their strategic alliance, in which both companies aim to capitalize on their joint resources, expanding their market coverage in new countries, and enhancing their global reach.
The newly formed alliance seeks to leverage TLC’s global logistical expertise and Pentagon’s extensive office network, particularly in emerging markets such as Africa. Switzerland based TLC currently has a presence in many emerging markets, including key regions throughout Africa. The partnership allows TLC to expand their African presence by leveraging Pentagon’s existing network in oil-rich west African regions as well as in east African regions. With a combined 65 years of global logistics experience, both companies aim to further establish themselves in the African energy, resources, and infrastructure sectors.
“We are very excited to be working with a company as experienced and respected as TLC,” stated Ashley Taylor, CEO of Pentagon Freight Services. “Their offices in strategically important locations in Africa and new ‘hotspots’ in the Caribbean and South America will allow us to extend our high quality of service directly to these regions, while simultaneously taking advantage of the wealth of expertise they have in dealing directly with the complex logistics scenarios that can arise at these destinations.”
“It is really great to be working with an internationally renowned logistics provider such as Pentagon whose reputation, lineage and history in the energy and resource sector makes it an ideal partner to collaborate with,” declared Philippe Masserey, CEO of TLC. “We can now offer our customers significantly wider market coverage, along with a seamless end-to-end service, cemented with fully integrated IT systems.”
