Software company Opsealog has been awarded a two-year contract by international energy company Azule Energy to enhance environmental performance across its offshore supply vessel fleet (OSV) in Angola.
The agreement aims to reduce fuel consumption and emissions, with Opsealog projecting a potential 10% decrease in emissions at Azule Energy’s fleet.
Initially, the contract will cover 28 OSVs, with plans to extend to the entire 33-vessel fleet by 2025. Opsealog will utilize its e-reporting system Streamlog to digitize onboard reporting and provide real-time vessel tracking across Azule Energy’s operations in three offshore blocks.
The data collected through Streamlog will be integrated and analyzed using Opsealog’s Marinsights platform. Streamlog will also develop a cost allocation system to address the additional costs and emissions associated with urgent vessel movements between blocks.
