Notwithstanding the value of gas revenues for Africa, emerging project developments will significantly improve infrastructure, local job creation, capacity building, and energy access and security. Built against this backdrop, the conference aims to accelerate investment and international participation so as to ensure energy potential translates into tangible benefits. Opportunities within the oil, gas, renewable, and even strategies minerals sectors have positioned the region as both an ideal investment destination, and competitive region.
