Off-Grid Africa, the Senegalese subsidiary of German renewable energy technology company Off-Grid Europe, is making significant strides in the electrification of rural areas in Senegal.

As part of the ASER300 project, in collaboration with the Senegalese Agency for Rural Electrification, and GAUFF Engineering, the company aims to power at least 150 villages across the country.

Off-Grid Africa is actively contributing to the fulfilment of Sustainable Development Goal 7 (SDG 7) as described in the UN Agenda 2030.

SDG 7 aims to ensure affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all. By providing rural communities with access to electricity, Off-Grid Africa is empowering these areas with improved opportunities for economic and social development.

Off-Grid Africa also provides energy to rural areas while simultaneously creating capacity and promoting collaboration with local partners, due to a strong commitment to knowledge transfer and international cooperation.

By integrating renewable energy sources, the company is contributing to emission reduction targets and promoting sustainable practices.
