Uranium development company ENRG Elements has renewed the exploration permits for its 100%-owned Agadez Uranium Project in Niger for three years.
The permits, covering approximately 726km², are now valid through November 2027.
“The renewal of our permits from the Nigerien government highlights the considerable confidence in ENRG’s in-country potential and the mining sector more broadly,” said Caroline Keats ENRG Element’s Managing Director.
Located in the uranium-rich Tim Mersoi Basin, the Agadez Project holds an inferred mineral resource estimate of 31.2 million tons of uranium oxide. Extensive exploration has been conducted since ENRG acquired the project in 2022, including a drilling campaign that significantly increased resource estimates.
ENRG Elements has recently completed a trenching program, with results expected soon.
