Namibia’s national oil company Namcor has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with global technology company SLB to strengthen collaboration in sustainability, decarbonization and new opportunities in the energy sector.
The MoU aims to leverage SLB’s technical portfolio to enhance Namcor’s operational performance in areas including decarbonization, carbon sequestration and green hydrogen production.
In addition to supporting advanced sustainable energy in Namibia, the agreement is also poised to support local capacity development in Namcor’s workforce.
