Revenue mobilization provider N-Soft has partnered with the Ministry of Finance of Guinea-Bissau to oversee transactional data across the digital sector, including mobile money operators, telecommunications and banking, with plans for further expansion.
N-Soft has already increased revenue mobilization by over 30% in markets such as the Democratic Republic of Congo, Mozambique, Sierra Leone and Burundi. As the African mobile money sector is expected to reach $3.44 billion by 2032, this partnership aims to boost Guinea-Bissau’s tax revenue, helping reduce debt, shield against crises, and reinvest in other sectors.
Minister of Finance Ilídio Vieira Té stated, “With real-time transaction reports, we are ready to optimize revenue collection, ensuring all due taxes are accounted for. This increased transparency not only improves our business environment but also makes Guinea-Bissau more attractive to external investors. Together, we are paving the way for sustainable economic growth and prosperity.”
