Independent engineering consultancy, Longitude Engineering, has secured a contract for services related to the subsea development of Egypt’s West Delta Deep Marine (WDDM) concession. The concession includes the Burullus Gas Field – approximately 90 km offshore Egypt -, and Longitude Engineering will deliver detailed design and engineering services for the expansion of the WDDM facilities.
The scope of the project involves expanding facilities with three subsea wells to supplement the existing 70 wells already in production. Longitude will provide comprehensive design and engineering services for the project, including vessel assurance, cable design, safety studies, and fabrication verification. Acting as a subcontractor, Longitude will work with EPIC contractor and vessel owner Petroleum Marine Services (PMS).
“We are delighted to collaborate with PMS to provide the detailed design and engineering support for this deepwater project,” said Daniel McGowan, Offshore Project Director at Longitude Engineering.
McGowan further emphasized the company’s ability to swiftly manage remote teams to meet client expectations throughout the project’s lifecycle.
