Libya’s National Oil Corporation (NOC) has announced that crude oil and condensate output has increased to 1.37 million barrels per day (bpd) while gas production has climbed to 199,776 bpd. Underscoring the sector’s recovery and growth, the milestone comes as various projects boost their respective production levels.
Mellitah Oil and Gas has reported the successful restart of two wells at the Abu Al-Tifl field, adding 4,200 bpd to Libya’s overall production. The move is part of a broader strategy to maintain and expand the country’s oil production capacity.
Meanwhile, Al-Waha Oil Company has achieved its highest production levels in 11 years. The company reported daily production of 350,549 barrels of crude from a total of 1.38 million barrels produced over the past 24 hours, while gas production reached 198,190 barrels.
With these advancements, Libya’s oil industry is on a trajectory for continued growth, driven by strategic well maintenance, enhanced operational performance and ongoing infrastructure investments.
