Libya’s parastatal National Oil Corporation (NOC) has announced that crude oil production from the country has recovered to 1.3 million barrels per day (bpd).
The government has since reopened all oilfields and export terminals in the country, including the 240,000 bpd El Sharara oilfield.
The announcement falls in line with Libya’s efforts to ramp up production to two million bpd by 2030, with the NOC targeting 2.3 million bpd by year-end.
