Kenya and the Netherlands have signed three Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) and a Letter of Intent to boost trade, agriculture, tourism and infrastructure development. The agreements were signed at State House Nairobi during a State Visit by King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima of the Netherlands.
Key agreements include a Joint Trade Committee to enhance bilateral trade, an Agriculture Working Group to strengthen farming collaboration and a tourism MoU to encourage Dutch investment and travel to Kenya.
Dutch firm Invest International also committed €3 million to fund water projects in Naivasha and Sabaki, improving access to clean water.
“The Netherlands’ global leadership in sustainable agriculture, water management and renewable energy aligns seamlessly with Kenya’s Vision 2030,” said Kenyan President William Ruto.
