Guinea-Conakry and Chinese energy company TBEA have reached financial close for the 300 MW Amaria Hydropower Plant project in Guinea.
This decision was made in September during a meeting between a Guinean delegation, led by Chief of Staff of the Presidency Djiba Diakité, and TBEA executives.
The Amaria Hydropower Plant, located downstream along the Konkoure River, 129 km away from Conakry, will primarily generate electricity using a dam-based development model.
