Canadian mining company Global Atomic Corporation has announced an increase in its private placement offering from C$30 million to C$36 million due to heightened investor interest.’
The placement aims to raise funds required to expedite the Dasa Uranium Project in Niger and support the company’s general working capital.
Global Atomic Corporation aims to commission a 1,200-ton-per-day processing plant at Dasa by Q1 – 2026. The company announced that it anticipates to close a $295 million loan supply deal with the U.S. Development Bank for the project in Q1 – 2025.
Dasa holds 73 million pounds of uranium, with 68.1 million pounds mineable over an estimated 23-year mine lifespan, according to a study released by Global Atomic Corporation in March 2024.
