Genesis, a wholly owned subsidiary of engineering and technology company Technip Energies, has signed a multi-year Master Service Agreement (MSA) with Woodside Energy Senegal for the Sangomar oil project, located offshore Senegal. The partnership intends to improve the lifecycle system performance of the Woodside-operated offshore field. Genesis, in collaboration with Senegalese oil and gas engineering services company Goree Offshore Engineering Senegal, will provide Subsea Integrity Management Engineering Services within the terms of the deal.
“To deliver the services, Genesis will bring its agnostic Subsea expertise, combined with a strong experience in supporting the asset’s full lifecycle services, meeting as always, the high required standards of quality and safety,” stated Alix Mouret, Head of Upstream Market for Genesis and Technip Energies.
The partnership with Goree Offshore Engineering Senegal will strengthen local talents and competences, therefore contributing to the overall growth of Senegal’s engineering industry.

Technip Energies was previously involved in building the SAR refinery for the processing of future Sangomar crude oil.
