The FLNG Gimi vessel has received its first feed gas from bp’s Greater Tortue Ahmeyim (GTA) gas field, located offshore Senegal and Mauritania, marking a significant milestone as the FLNG enters full commissioning.
With feed gas now flowing from the FPSO, full-scale commissioning activities can advance, setting the stage for the next phases of the GTA field development. First LNG exports are expected within the first quarter of 2025, with full commercial operations expected by the second quarter.
