The milestone follows extensive discussions between ANPG and the partners of the joint-venture of Block 3/05.

The remaining partners in the joint venture for Block 3/05 – Sonangol, Pesquisa e Produção, Maurel and Prom Angola, ENI, Somoil and NIS-Naftgas – are currently analyzing and reviewing the proposal. Upon approval, the regulator will begin the process of obtaining the necessary government decree to approve and put into practice this addendum.

Meanwhile, Afentra has stopped operations from March 31 to June 30, 2023, in order to facilitate the completion of this transaction by Sonangol, which owns 50% of this block.
