Angolan logistics services firm All Brokerage Solutions (ABS) is delivering its first gas project under a contract with energy services firm Saipem, says Erwin Krueck, Managing Director of ABS.
In an interview with Energy Capital & Power during the Angola Oil & Gas conference in Luanda, Krueck said the firm is working with Saipem on the New Gas Consortium project offshore Angola.
“For the first time, we are involved in gas drilling. Our role involves transporting equipment from ports to the offshore construction site, which demands significant maritime expertise,” said Krueck.
Operated by Azule Energy, the New Gas Consortium is expected to produce 9.35 million cubic meters of gas per day once operational in 2026. Commenting on trends within Angola’s oil and gas services sector, Krueck said demand has increased in the past two years owing to a rise in exploration and production activities.
“Demand has grown with many of our clients in the maritime sector acquiring ships for offshore projects. We have also supported Azule Energy for the past three years,” said Krueck, emphasizing that ABS is enhancing its capabilities by strengthening cooperation with international clients and other service providers.
