Angola’s Ministry of Commerce and the U.S. Department of Commerce have signed a Memorandum of Understanding launching the U.S.-Angola Commercial and Investment Partnership (CIP).
This agreement cultivates private sector collaboration and identifies opportunities in key sectors including agricultural technology and infrastructure.
“Through the CIP, the Department and Ministry plan to engage with private sector stakeholders… and promote equitable, private sector-led economic growth,” the Commerce Department stated.
The agreement was signed by Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo and Angolan Commerce Minister Rui Miguêns de Oliveira last week.
