Angola’s national airline carrier TAAG Angola Airlines will resume flights to the Republic of the Congo’s capital city Brazzaville in August 2024. The airline will add two weekly flights from the recently opened Luanda International Airport to Brazzaville, improving both passenger and cargo connectivity between the two countries.
The scheduled flights will depart Luanda on Fridays and Sundays on a Dash-8 400 aircraft. The carrier has a capacity to transport 74 passengers, with flights already open for booking.
The addition of the Luanda-Brazzaville route aligns with TAAG’s goal of expanding both regional and international connectivity to Luanda. The new flight route supports traffic and connectivity within the member countries of the Southern Africa Development Community.
