Under the terms of the agreement signed with the Roma Tre University, Angolan students will have the opportunity to study at the institution, with various scholarships being made available, facilitated by INAGBE.
Meanwhile, the agreement signed with the Venâncio de Moura Diplomatic Academy covers the training of Angolan nationals in the fields of diplomacy and negotiation, with training programs planned to in Angola in the future, benefiting a larger number of students.
“The two agreements will remain the basis for developing cooperation with the Angolan government and with Angolan academic institutions,” stated Raffaele Marchetti, Rector for International Relations at Roma Tre University, adding that, “The idea of the agreements is to offer the same possibility to other students.”
With Italy having been identified as an “essential partner in this era in which Angola is making diplomacy a fundamental instrument to generate business,” President Lourenço stated during the beginning of his visit, cooperation in the fields of higher education will help bolster progress across every other facet of the economy.
