Algerian national oil company Sonatrach signed an agreement with Slovenian natural gas supplier Geoplin to boost gas exports to Slovenia. The deal aims to enhance energy cooperation between the two countries, thereby strengthening Algeria’s status as a global gas supplier.
As per the terms of the deal, Sonatrach will increase the volume of gas transported to Slovenia via a gas pipeline linking Algeria to Italy across the Mediterranean. According to Sonatrach, the collaboration demonstrates both countries commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation.
The agreement was signed during an official visit to Algeria by Robert Golob, Prime Minister of the Republic of Slovenia, in the presence of Abdelmadjid Tebboune, President of the Republic of Algeria.
