Algeria’s national oil company Sonatrach and Oman’s oil and gas provider Abraj Energy Services have inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to foster collaboration in the oil and gas services sector between Algeria and Oman.
The MoU, signed in Oman by Vice President of Business Development and Marketing at Sonatrach Farhat Aounougui and CEO of Abraj Energy Services Eng. Saif Said Al Hamhami, focuses on facilitating the exchange of expertise, knowledge and technology, particularly in drilling and well services to benefit Algeria’s oil and gas fields.
“We are delighted to sign this MoU with Sonatrach, which is a crucial step towards bolstering cooperation between Oman and Algeria in the oil and gas sector,” said Hamhami
“This MoU is more than a simple agreement; it is a bridge connecting the expertise and resources of two leading national companies, aiming to spearhead innovation and excellence in the oil and gas industry,” Hachichi added.
