Akiba Finances, a fintech company operating in Guinea-Conakry, has introduced two new products in the country, the Akiba Mobile and the Akiba Business Portal. The company intends to reshape Guinea’s financial sector and enhance financial inclusivity through these offerings.

The Akiba Business Portal supports mass payments, making it easy and convenient to pay several beneficiaries at the same time.

It provides several advantages, such as group bill payments, salary payments, free access to transaction statements and simultaneous mobile credit top-ups.

On the other hand, Akiba Finances offers Akiba Mobile, a full mobile banking solution that includes bank account access, free transfers, monthly savings cycles and merchant payments. Both offerings are comparable to Orange Money, a successful business with 40 million subscribers and a presence in 17 African nations.

Akiba Finances, which has a capital of 7.5 billion GNF and over 70,000 accounts established (70% of which are held by women) has already provided jobs for the community. The organization intends to assist disadvantaged people and important sectors such as agriculture, transportation, commerce, fishing, and crafts.
