The African Development Fund (ADF) has approved a $14.15-million loan to Guinea-Conakry aimed at strengthening the country’s institutional capacity for industrial development and enhancing the resilience of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
The funding will support a development program designed to improve the quality of public services available to SMEs, as well as a growth and resilience support initiative tailored to their needs. The program aims to create new productive capacities for these enterprises.
The loan features a 50-year repayment period with a 10-year grace period. During this grace period, Guinea-Conakry will incur a 1% service fee on disbursed funds and a 0.75% commitment fee on undisbursed funds.
