The Association of Exploration and Production Companies in Angola (ACEPA) has donated a new bio molecular machine to the National Health Research Institute in Angola.
The machine is able to conduct up to 320 COVID-19 tests per day and serves to prevent and mitigate the further spread of the COVID-19 outbreak by increasing testing capacity.
The donation took place in a ceremony in Luanda, with H.E. Silvia Lutucuta, Minister of Health in attendance.
The petroleum industry is currently working to support the government’s efforts against COVID-19 and reinforce its strategy of public-private partnership that has been adopted since the onset of the crisis. Through its donation, ACEPA reiterates its foundational commitment to Angola’s growth and prosperity.
